Formula:

RS = ∑ (Player score × Role coefficient)

Role perk impact on sniper scoring

Each Sniper card now has a role perk that provides an additional percentage bonus to the total points earned from AWP kills in each round.

Updated formula with role perks:

RS_final = RS + (RS × Role Perk Bonus%)

For example:

  • If a Sniper has 10 AWP kills and a +5% role perk, their final role score increases by 5% before further multipliers are applied.

What this means:

  • Even if two Snipers achieve the same number of AWP kills, their total scores may vary depending on their role perk bonus.

  • The Sniper role perk applies directly to AWP kills, increasing their fantasy impact.

Choosing a Sniper with a high role perk percentage can significantly improve your lineup’s performance.

How to choose the best player for the Sniper role in your lineup?

Selecting a Sniper for your fantasy esports team requires careful consideration of their skills, performance, and playstyle. Here are some factors to keep in mind when choosing a Sniper (AWPer) for your Powerplay lineup:

Consistency: Consistency is key in fantasy esports. Look for Snipers who consistently perform well across multiple matches and tournaments. Avoid players that have extreme peaks and valleys in their performance.

Aim and Accuracy: Sniping requires precise aiming and accuracy. Analyze the player's accuracy with the AWP (Sniper rifle) and their ability to hit crucial shots. Players with a track record of hitting high-impact shots can be valuable additions to your lineup.

Adaptability: The best Snipers can adapt to different situations and playstyles. A Sniper that can switch between aggressive and passive play based on the team's needs can be a valuable asset in fantasy Counter-Strike 2.

Impactful Kills: Beyond just fragging, look for Snipers who consistently get impactful kills that turn the tide of rounds. This could include opening kills, important picks, and clutch situations.

Recent Performance: Analyze the Sniper's recent performance and statistics. Pay attention to their AWP kills, kill-death ratio, and overall contribution to the team's success.

Research and Analysis: Stay up to date on the Counter-Strike 2 scene by researching news, analysis, and expert opinions. This will help you identify Snipers in good shape and with the potential to perform well in the fantasy league.

Team Support: Snipers often need good team support to succeed. Make sure the Sniper's team has a structure that allows them to play to their strengths, including good utility usage to set up favorable sniping angles.

Clutch Potential: Snipers who can excel in clutch situations can be valuable additions to your lineup. They can turn disadvantageous situations into victories with well-placed shots.

Remember that fantasy esports involves some element of risk and speculation. While certain Snipers may be favored by the community, there's always a chance that different players will have standout performances in any given match or tournament. Balancing your lineup with a mix of roles and playstyles can increase your chances of success.
